D'lish scraps may inspiration board

Hi all, this month I attempted Dlish inspiration board Peach kisses.
Such a pretty colour combination in the board, lots of soft pastels.

This is what I came up with.

I wanted to do a clean layout with this as the pattern paper was bold as stood out a lot.
The picture was taken on our weekend away at Lorne just over a year ago, which worked nice with the theme of being lovey dovey stuff.

I purchased the 'just add paper' kit, and everything in there was more then enough and didn't have to add much more.

Lots of all cute little embellishments in the kit.

I added tinby metallic melts to the XOXO which added a nice texture to the piece.

I don't do much journaling on my work, as I don't like my handwriting, but I thought adding this tag into the bitty bag on the piece worked perfect as I could write about it but keep it tucked away in the cute little bag.

I also did some random paint splatters, just to bring in some random colour to it.

White with one challenge 'Raspberry Wine'

Hi all, I'm so excited to announce that I made my first ever creative team.
I'm so happy to join the White with one team, and am looking forward to inspire people over the next 6 months with my pieces.

Check out the White with one blog to see my piece along with all the other talented ladies on the creative team by clicking the link just below.

My first challenege with the White with one team was this months colour 'raspberry wine'. I knew the photo straight away I was going to use as I've been holding on to use it for something that will make the photo pop, and this colour fitted perfectly for it.

This is my take on the colour.

The picture was taken of a flower in my grandmothers yard, its such a pretty flower. I would walk past it all the time thinking of taking photos of it and scrap it.
When my nan seen the page she said it brought a tear to her eye, for over 40 years she has busted her bum with her garden making it look beautiful, and for me to do a page on it she loved it.

Making the background I did some stenciling, added gelatos made into a water colour over the top. A lot of random texture stamping with ripped up paper.

I added the left over water colour to the cheese cloth too, just so it would blend in nicely.
All the cute little flowers come from Dlish scraps.
