This months colour was Sand, and of course the first thing that comes to mind straight away with that colour was to go through my beach photos to use.
This is what I came up with.
The photo is of my boyfriend and I at queensland a couple of years ago, I tortured that poor boy to get photo trying to think of something different, lucky he was so patient.
I build up the back ground with adding random bits of texture paste, then added gelatos made into a water colours.
The star fish is from a pack of sea products, and the shell is an actual shell I found while walking along the beaches of surfer paradise.
I had thin piece of twine, which I cut up to add behind everything.
I used prima mirco beads for the first time, think ill be investing in some more colours as I love how they turned out.
I also added a bit of random stamping with a texture stamp from Kaisercraft and finished it off with some enamel dots.
Products Used:
White card stock
Texture paste
Gelatos
Twine
Strips of patterned paper
Kaisercraft texture stamp
Prima micro beads- bronze
Enamel dots
Chipboard word
Thanks for taking the time to look.
